COVID-19 Response

As of Saturday, March 14, 2020, we have suspended all in-person gatherings at the church until further notice as a way to protect the most vulnerable among us and keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible.

This was not done not in fear, but as a practical expression of love and care. As we continue to receive guidance from health professionals, the CDC, and local and national government regarding measures to help limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the leaders and Pastor of the church will continue to be in discernment about all public gatherings at the church, including worship and Sunday school. We will keep you updated on all changes to these plans as the situation evolves.

Here’s something we can all do: pray always and do not lose heart. Pray for your neighbors, near and far. Pray for the world’s leaders, pray for the medical community, pray for the store owners, and the truck drivers who bring us much-needed goods, and pray for those who rely on an hourly wage and a steady stream of customers. Pray for students and their teachers. Pray for the vulnerable. Pray for a vaccine. Pray for God’s divine touch upon the world.

God hears our prayers. God is with us. God is for us, and God works in us and through us for just such a time as this. Thanks be to God!

In Christ Jesus,

Pastor Lisa
